The recently develop universal agitator, Visco Jet, from Inotec GmbH Transport-und Fordersysteme in Walds-hut-Tiengen is suitable for the mixing and homogenising of low to high-viscosity media in containers of any size or shape, it super sedes the large range of different agitator geometries available to date. Industrial plants involved with process engineering, in the chemicals industry, the food and drinks industry and the production of paints and links can therefore operate significantly more flexibly and cost-effectively.

In the past, special agitators were needed in industrial process engineering for the mixing and homogenising of media of different viscosities and these depended on the tank size and shape. This has therefore produced a quite baffling array of agitators and agitating units. A range like this constitutes a high level of cost for users. On the one Hand, they have to correctly select the agitator or agitating unit suitable for the application in hand by means of various criteria.

On the other hand, plants have to own a wide range of different agitators so that they can be flexible. Since the previous agitators or at least parts of them were often fitted in containers with agitators for special mixing work. However, this is not cost-effective.

Plants in the chemicals industry, handling the production of food and drinks and in the inks and paints industry now function considerably better and more cost effectively with the universal Visco Jet agitator.

Its cup-shaped agitators create dynamic flow conductions. These depend on The viscosity of the media being stirred. This may be between 1 and 20 000 mPas and
depending on the application, may even reach 30 000 mPas.

High-viscosity media such as paints and low-viscosity media such as concentrates for sweet drinks containing water can therefore be stirred, mixed and homogenised with similarly constructed agitator.
