"Welding
elements for tank construction"
Do
you know the cheapest solution for the construction of tanks
intended for the following application fields?
Milk
tanks
- Wine
tanks
- Beer
tanks
- Reactors
- Pharmaceutical
tanks
SIMPEX
EP Laserplate is
the solution!
Here are the advantages:
- Lower cost channel and half tubes construction
- Simpex Laserplate is an element to be
welded
- No internal surface polishing or brushing
needed
- TÜV approval if required
- Weld edges can be programmed
- Any type of channels and special construction
available
- Cuts for pipes and feet
- No damage on the internal surface
Thermo Tech Production
Simpex heat exchange panels are manufactured from two sheets
either of the same wall thickness (Type
DP, double-embossed) or of different wall thickness (Type
EP, single
embossed) that are laser or resistance welded.
The welding edges can be programmed directly
on the welder.
This allows realizing any required type of channels including
the most peculiar ones.
As a new CAD System is coupled to the welder
any special or peculiar construction design from the customer
can be transmitted to the CAD System.
A wide range of flow channel shapes can
be realized, including the most peculiar and out-of-standard
forms especially suitable for the construction of various
types of tanks.
Holes and channels can be distributed a
number of different heating/cooling circuits, which allows
for a great variety of construction solutions.

Certified commissioning
Besides the required official commissioning, all the beveled
sheets are normally tested during manufacturing with nitrogen
under water at a pressure 30% higher than the rating value.
Upon request a certificate can be issued testifying and
recording manufacturing and pressure tests. All beveled
sheets can also be supplied with relevant TÜV pressure
commissioning certificate.
Just
to meet TÜV requirements all beveled sheets are designed
to withstand burst pressures at least 5 times higher than
the rated working pressure (e.g., if the working pressure
is 20 bar, the corresponding burstpressure is > 100 bar!!).
These plates also meet SAQ standards (Scandinavia) and can
also be designed according to ASME standards.
